I saw there were a great number of spam coming in to my system with the
following format:

3-83-ia-omni.com?[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I thought 'hmmm there cannot be a valid reason for putting a question
mark
in a reply to email so I will just ban them"

WRONG!!!!!!

All of a sudden (meaning 2 hours later when I am home trying to send
mail
through that server) I see that NO ONE can send anything. All mail is
blocked by the filter.

Does the question mark have special significance that precludes its use
in
the spam filter?
