The only disadvantage to synynoms is that the domains are treated exactly the same (which is what I think you want in this case).  The problem would come if you decided down the road to add new users to the new domain you didn't want in the old.  Any 'new' user will wind up working on both the new and old domain name, you won't be able to seperate say 'bill@newdomain' from 'bill@olddomain'.   Best, Bill   ----- Original Message ----- From: Malcolm Joosse To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2002 8:35 PM Subject: [VOPmail Beta] migrating to a new domain on same server Bill, I never have done synynoms before.  Is there any disadvantages ?
