We've had problems with this as well. I've requested a feature whereby
authenticated clients (SMTP Auth, POPB4SMPT, Allowed IPs) could bypass
selected checks. Right now, we have ours set at 500 or so which does
very little to stop spam but prevents customer complaints.

Converting customers over to mailing lists didn't work because 1) we
charge for mailing lists and 2) VOPMail mailing lists are inevitably
much more complicated and not as feature rich as whatever they are using
on their desktop.

Subject: [VOPmail Beta] Individual Limits on Recipients

* This is the vopmailbeta mailing list *

I've been looking through our ModusMail setup and have come up empty
handed
here. Is there a way to allow certain individuals or a particular
domain to
have an unlimited amount of recipients in the To: field? We've got a
max
amount set to 50 right now. The reason being is we have a couple of
customers who do mass mailing reports to their respective clients. One
of
which has a high amount (we're talking 4 digits) of people to send out
to.

Thanks
