The cache is a resolution cache, we record the IP's that were resolved
positively by an RBL that way, it saves us a DNS request if we see that IP
again.  Note that tweaking the DNS timeout also helps.  Finally, if you
enable the high-performance DNS available in VOPMail 5.3 (I believe), it
will also reduce the time it takes to process the multiple DNSBL checks
(basically, at one point, the problems with Window's DNS resolver drove us
to the point where we decided to write our own DNS resolver which is much
faster).

Is that how it works?  I was assuming that vop put it in a cache and then
dumped it before moving it to the actual mailbox if there was a problem.

Wow, then I do not think I will do multiple lists then, email clients and
email server's might timeout waiting for my server to decide if it wants to
accept the message or not.
