It is not actually a full RFC yet and therefore not supported.

Clearly it is not a total solution. It denies people the ability to say
they
are anyone that want to though, that is good.

The downside is that people will NOT be able to send mail from
@anyvanitydomaintheywant.com from any server. Things will need to be
authorized by the DNS entry. This will cause a few people to have to
change
their way of doing things. Still it seems to be a very good step in the
right direction without breaking everything used up till now.
