I've had good success with this. Try adding Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.255
to your profiles. I've also found that the static IP should not be one of
the dynamic ip's assigned by the NAS, but should still be in the same net
block so proper routing will occur. Below is one of mine:
Profile="staticdial"
Service-Type = Framed-User
Framed-Protocol = PPP
Idle-Limit = 1200
Session-Timeout = 18000
NAS-Port-Type = Async
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.255
Framed-Address = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (to protect the innocent)
Port-Limit = 1

I have had zero luck assigning static ip's to specific users.
I have spent extensive time on the phone with the VOP technical support
people, and have sent many emails back and forth reguarding this issue,
still with no success what so ever.
Below is my profiles.txt. I have been told repeatedly that everything is
perfect, yet nothing works. (and yes, those are tabs before each attribute,
outlook is just lame.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
