The two issues below are typically done with other software.

I know of a dialer product (www.ispfusion.com) that will allow you to send a
person to a specific page upon dialing. It can be set independent of the
default home page.

>1. FORCE A PAGE TO CUSTOMERS AT LOGIN: I would like to force all customers
or a set of them to receive a specific web site upon login. After that page
is displayed, they have the freedom to go anywhere. This page can possibly
show them their account status, ..etc. or simply advertisements ! :-)

This feature must be incorporated into your accounting package. I can't
imagine simply hoping the authentication product will serve in this manner.
You need an accounting package that will give current information on the
status of accounts and then you need to access that page. If you want to
give people access whose account has expired, you need an account that will
work independent of their normal account and allow them access so you can
check these things. Of course, that dialup account is subject to abuse
unless you deal with it.

Even when they get online, they need to be limited to where they can go. You
can do this by either putting in a Radius filter for that account or by
simply denying access to gateway and/or DNS server information and point
them to a site via IP address alone.

>2. FORCE A PAGE TO EXPIRED CUSTOMERS: When a customer whose subscription
have expired dials up to the service, then instead of denying him/her access
and giving them the vague Windows errors, I would like to allow them to
login for 1 or 2 minutes and FORCE them in this 1 or 2 minutes to a page
which tells them to reason for not being able to login as well as the ways
to renew. They should not be able to go during this session to any other
page, or we could allow them to go to one page which allows them to renew
online. Once they renew, they will be asked to disconnect and connect once
again to activate the new account.

What accounting package are you using now?
