I remember solving this problem before by changing the auth timeout or the accounting setting in the MAX, but I cannot remember which one and the proper setting. I have had to reconfigure my MAX and not sure of this setting. The vircom docs on the primary, secondary relay setup say: Note that for cache authentication to kick in when there's a failure, the NAS has to send at least three retries within 15 seconds. Contact the manufacturer of your Access Servers to find out how to configure them to operate in that fashion. Does this mean that I need to increase the auth timeout or decrease it on the MAX?
