Example: I am having a problem using the dialup for Someville (543-983-3342). I get an "Access was denied because the username or password was invalid on the domain" error message while authenticating to the ISP server. I have tested with myloginname (mypassword). Our dialer automatically uses the "@realm" suffix. Am I doing something wrong. Example end What's weird is that there are no error logs of the attempt. And the upstream says my server denied the request. Their log shows: Tue Dec 2 23:00:34 2003 : Auth: Login incorrect (Home Server says so): [EMAIL PROTECTED]/mypassword] (from client DAS [Stamford 6, CT] port 3081 csi 543-983-3342) Looks like chap from the error above, but then again it is the right login/password combo. However with no error data, anyone have an idea why a windows2000 pro client is getting that error and why my logs are not showing it. Also, after the update a few days ago I have version 3.5, the site now has 3.4... - Neil --------------------------------------------------------- CyberLAN Cafe & Gaming Center http://www.TheCyberLAN.com 201-C Frazier Ave (423) 267-3808 --------------------------------------------------------- ** To leave this list, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put the word "LEAVE" in the BODY of the email.
