Subject: [VOPRadius] Setting up SLIPSTREAM/VOPTRADIUS with GlobalPops

* This is the VOP Radius mailing list *
Yves at VIRCOM Tech support has posted a set of working configurations
that we worked out today on a 3 way conference call between VIRCOM and
GlobalPops Tech Support. They confirmed that the setting do in fact
correctly authenticate back to our VOPTRadius server and allow access
to the Slipstream system. GlobalPops will also have these setting
posted shortly in the FAQ section.

I tested this thru a live dial-in account and it does work.

The settings are based on a 100% GlobalPops setup for dialup, VirCom
VOPTRadius v3.5, and GlobalPops initiated setup for the Slipstream
Accelerator server.
We found the key to be the word "true" in the profiles.txt. It is
case-sensitive and is required to be all lower case letters. Also be
sure to stop/start the radius server when making changes to the
profiles.txt or the dictionary file. The slipstream profile [I called
it slipstream], must also be defined in the Profile column of the user
database--Voptdb.mdb for those using the generic VOP Radius Database
file.

Thanks to all on the list that offered help!
