Hi Erik,
We've actually gotten this to work (we had no
choice as our client already had a significant investment in the Colubris
hardware). As we suspected, the solution had nothing to do with the VOP
radius setup. It seems to be more related to the Squid implementation of
DHCP services that the Colubris unit uses. We solved our problem by
embedding the image of the Colubris logo (fully pathed using the IP address of
the Colubris' LAN interface and the Colubris port number) from the
administrative login page into the remote login page. We sized the image
to 1 X 1 pixels so that users don't actually see it. All of our testing
thus far at multiple sites indicates that this fixed the issue. As a
side note, we also used the Colubris LAN IP address in the action attribute of
the form that sends the user credentials back to the CN3000.
Colubris
and Vircom are currently collaborating on using our initial configurations to
test and address any issues that they can
find.

Colubris CN3000 NOC Authentication
Hello,
I am new to
this list. We are trying to get the NOC Authentication feature of the
Colubris CN3000 Integrated Access Point/Access
Controller working using VOP Radius. We are using an external
web server to customize the login interface. When we try to
authenticate as a customer, the connection to the web server seems to drop
before the authentication request is sent back to VOP radius. Colubris
insists that this is an issue with the AV Pairs that are set in
profiles.txt. We have a hard time believing this. That said, my
question to the group is - does anyone else have the CN3000 working with VOP
Radius with NOC Authentication set?
