I suggest you use Authentication on the new number as well. You should however set-up a different realm to ensure that customers who access only the shared income lines cannot access the paid for lines.

You could of course use two different profiles in Rodopi but that would be trickier.

Subject: [VOPRadius] How to Control Access?
Importance: High

Hello,

We are using VOP Radius Professional with Rodopi Billing System

We have have two phone numbers to access our dialup service as follows:

1. 3609111: EXISTING - This requires a userid and password (subscription).

2. 3680888: NEW - Doesn't require a subscription as we will share income with Telco.

The 1st line is setup okay and working since a long time.

The question is how can we setup Radius to identify users coming from this NEW number (3680888) and allow them to login with no authentication and yet keep the billing working in order to simply keep logs of the usage for accounting purposes which is mainly to cross check the income with the Telco.

Do we use the Called-Station-Id = "3680888" ? and how ?

Any and all ideas are welcome ..

Regards..
