The DoE
was cobbled together in 1975 from a basket of Government Departments much
like the Piltdown Man except the DoE cherry pie sold to the public had the
petroleum industry paying for it.
The DoE has a four part mission statement.. Defense,
Energy, Science and Environment. After more than 25 years in existence, the
mission has been lost in the closet but the Dept has succeeded in creating
super fossils of itself.
Rumor has it ( tongue in cheek) that several University
Anthropology Depts are seeking research grants to study the skeletons. As part
of the funding grant, the Universities must promise not to get the skulls mixed
up with the bones.
