Yes. I have no reason to doubt you. I, too, have been the victim of IP theft when a former boss stole my idea for a data protection switch using ESF and patented it in his name. It was to be used to provide extremely low bit error rates in a bid to the FAA. However, a competitor won the bid and Dan did not profit from the (mis)venture. Ironically, he was a Christian minister and tried to evangelized me while I worked for him.
He lost his job with Sprint and now runs a marginally successful consulting firm.
