The term negative resistance is usually used to describe the actions of
the load; not the circuit powering the load. Here initially the Wikipedia
definitions are shown and countered with my example of a negative resistance
"circuit". This is used to power a 12 inch xenon bulb at what was formerly
tested at 170% efficiency. The efficiency shown in this demonstration will
later be calculated, and may be greater the 170% efficient. The secret here is
a simulated manipulated resonance with the source. In the opening the circuit
is allowed to self magnetize its field to a highly limited degree, but that
voltage obtained is still higher then the voltage obtained in no field, no load
conditions. Later a 7.7 volt open circuit is made with a field input. When the
loads are attached the source voltage goes up instead of down. Both positive
