Neutral multi-MeV/u particles from laser-induced processes in ultra-dense
deuterium D(0): accurate two-collector timing and magnetic analysis

I doubt that fusion of deuterium is at the bottom of the explosive reaction
seen in the Leif Holmlid experiment. I believe that what Holmlid has
reproduced is what takes place in the Papp engine. Papp first produced this
reaction using water, but changed his technology when the water eroded the
inside of his cylinder.

He then turned to noble gases to produce the nano particles that cluster
together and then explode under the stimulation of an electric arc. I doubt
that those noble gases would support a fusion reaction as Holmlid imagines.
There is Coulomb explosion of nano particle based clusters involved that
produce shock waves and the expansion of gas but no heat. The reaction is
most probably a LENR reaction that transfers its energy production to the
nano-particle cluster in which the reaction occurs.

The Rossi reaction is confined to the surface of the nickel micro particles
there rydberg hydrogen amplifies the catalytic type reaction that produces
heat then the SPP soliton explodes.

The Papp reaction is a plasma based reaction that is free ranging and
centered withing clusters of nano particles. In the Papp reaction, XUV and
soft X rays produced by the arc or laser excite the clusters instead of
heat to generate the coulomb explosion. The Bosenova is the explosive
mechanism that imparts energy to the fragments of the cluster.

In the Rossi reaction, the nickel micro particle produces the heat based
dipole motion that accumulates in the SPP solitons. When the Bosenova
explodes, the XUV and soft x-rays are thermalized in the electron clouds to
the atoms in the reactor structure. The the Papp reaction, the Bosenove
imparts its energy directly to the structure of the cluster. This energy
blows the cluster apart and the fragments of the cluster carry the energy
away through explosive expansion.
