Interesting thing is, no atomic clock will ever be perfect although the Bhor model would lead one to believe it could be. The ironic thing is that it is the bound electron's interaction with virtual particles (aka vacuum, aether, Beta-atm) which is the reason according to Nobel Laureate Robert B. Laughlin:
