How might potassium catalyze the long chain like crystal structure typified
in Ultra dense hydrogen?

There is a QM process called Rydberg blockade whereby the structure of one
cluster of atoms provide a template that serves to catalyze the formation
of the same clustered structure in another element. The two different
element clusters become entangled.

Potassium clustering will catalyze the formation of clustering of hydrogen
atoms.

In more general terms. I beleive that the quantum mechanical process
usually used to promote entanglement in quantum mechanical systems
called "Rydberg Blockade" produces this catalytic clustering effect that
proceeds from alkali metal impurities that serve to form hydrogen
clustering as well as carbon clustering.

This catalytic action produced by alkali metals has appeared recently in
the press.

Household Ingredients Rich in Sodium Help Grow Carbon Nanotubes

When carbon is exposed to sodium, it catalyzes the formation of carbon
nano-tubes at room temperature.

Alkali metals seem to have the ability to weave atoms together from
selected elements into crystals and chains similar to the long chains and
clusters that the alkali metals form.

In association with LENR engineering, from the early days of LENR "fuel"
production, the secret sauce in the production of the LENR effect has been
the inclusion of an alkali metal in the fuel mix.
