Nice graphics! The net energy to displace the field with a magnetic
shield, and then remove it, is more than the energy that can be
extracted by the coil.

Howdy Vorts,
Now add a self balancing counterweight spring under cylinder magnet "B" with a ratcheting device indexed to shield "A" . The ratcheting device can be a cylinder shaped pendulem with a low viscious liquid. .... and what have ye? Well.. add a sound card playing "over the waves" to avoid dissapointment.

Well, as Horace sez..you will always wind up using more net energy input.
We have a guy spends his work day devoted to schemes for getting outa work. He arrives at the Dime Box saloon completely worn out from the effort.
