The Mainichi just published an article (in
Japanese) claiming that the NOAA has concluded
that the 2006 temperature elevation was caused by
global warming and not El Nino or some other
natural effect. I am looking for a version of

According to the NOAA, 2006 temperatures in the
lower 48 were "2.1°F (1.2°C) above the 20th Century mean." See:
