I have just read a Scientific American article on future science. I have just watched the NOVA program on string theory on the web. It appears that the rave in high energy. Perhaps they will find the Higgs. Perhaps they will find a string in 11 dimensions that describes everything. Maybe they can bring gravity into the fold with the other forces. Students are flocking into this study. The whole thing makes me sick. The brightest students are flocking into a study with no possible economic applications. In the mean time the ice caps are melting. The process of cold fusion is not even on the map. Cold fusion is much more than a process the overcomes the electrostatic potential wall with a hidden trick of Newtonian physics. It is a unique state of condensed matter. This state affects the range of the strong nuclear force. This is a big discovery, We can modify the range and the strength of a force at low energy. How could all of these flocking students and brainacks have missed this? I can wait until the truth is revealed. Frank Znidarsic
