Sure David, Using the example of a piece of copper rod at ambient temperature, Rapidly bend the rod and it gets hot at the bend. The more rapid the bend, the hotter it gets. No inconsistency unless you wish to rewrite thermo.. which some brainiac should do soon before we tumble. Richard
