... brings to mind an old musing - i.e. the possible
natural enrichment of the deuterium ratio in ice
formations in norther latitudes... i.e. those exposed
surfaces which go through sequential thawing and
refreezing... this (in theory) would be due to the
rather substantial difference in the melting point of
heavy water combined with lower vapor pressure.
