Hasok Chang is the author of the book _Inventing Temperature_.

Educators of science will find his ideas about teaching and communicating
science and the notion of "complementary science" interesting and provocative.

Lecture includes video from two experimental demonstrations. The first is on
the boiling point of water and the second is a basic voltaic cell. He argues
that there are important aspects of such familiar phenomena which have never
been adequately explained.
