Greetings Vortex-L, In the past, I can remember reading that during WW 11 the Germans had the technology to convert carbon into iron.
Allegedly there are still road guide posts that were made from this material that are still in the Bavarian Alps- the iron wouldn t rust or was reluctant to rusting. Respectfully, Ron Kita, Chiralex Doylestown PA
