Why is Elon giving VW a bit of free PR? Is there a tie-in already, or is this a hint of things to come? I doubt if this mention of VW on his blog is as simple as a common courtesy, since VW is a potential high-end competitor - due to the success of their SUVs. (speculation: this seems more like the tiny VW gen-set is going to find a new home in a new Tesla model) Jones
