The independent article also repeats the JET (Joint European Torus) record output of 16MW. But they had to put in 24MW -- so Q was about 0.7 -- and it only ran for 0.5 seconds. That means that they got a hefty 2 kWH out of it! Not to mention Hot Fusion's dirty little secret -- all those neutrons make the entire structure radioactive .... which the wiki article describes as a "very short halflife" of ........ FIFTY YEARS !!!
