I've seen some amazing diagrams produced from this software. It's written in perl, believe it or not!
Go to: http://circos.ca/ and take a look at an extraordinary number of diagrams produced from this s/w. I wonder if would be feasible to produce a periodic table using Circos' circular diagram layout, including isotopes and stability factors per element. Would unexpected patters be revealed?
