I think Andrew is headed in the right direction. Hydrogen appears very collapsible and the result is forming these decaying strings (possibly closed and open). To me, these energetic strings appear to also decay back to protons along their path, as I believe they are doing in our atmosphere, ionizing oxygen and forming water vapor as well as whisps of hydrogen throughout space and within the coma of comets and gas giants. We need to get to the CORE of these bodies and I think we will find the M in M Theory connected by all of these energetic strings and particles streaming through non-empty space. We reside on the baryonic crust of a Black Brane and are caught in the quantum crossfire between it and our solar brane in the way of those billions of tons of energetic particles streaming our way in the solar wind.
