Well I suppose it couldn't hurt to start a conversation on Ed's theory in general, as I'm sure some of us know a bit about it. He posits the hydroton polymer-like cluster that "slowly" dissipates energy through resonance-induced photon emission. The hydrogen "chain" forms in the Nuclear Active Environment (NAE). Ed's NAE is a linear nano-crack or "defect". A similar NAE has been put forward by Meulenberg in his Extended Lochon theory. Axil, I know you favor nano-cavities as some sort for NAE, that then link together through some sort of quantum coherent resonance or "whispering" (?) effect, right? Ed wrote up a rather lengthy article on his model for a recent issue of JCMNS as well.
