Yes, but if you're currently sticking with Stable, it looks like you won't get it for some time. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong!) I'm deducing this based on the comment I heard that said KDE 3.4 won't even get into _"sid"_ (Unstable) until after the current Testing ("sarge") 'graduates' into a Stable branch. Then, after KDE 3.4 hits "sid," it will no doubt linger there for at least a few weeks, and then eventually make its way into Testing (which at that point will be called "etch"). To follow-up from last night, I did have a little struggle getting a few packages to upgrade nicely, but I think that's due to my lack of sophistication with apt-get and aptitude. :^) Kmail, Konqueror, kttsd and kdebase were fighting with each other over a few icons and config files. It's finally all installed, though, and without too much fuss. :^) UNFORTUNATELY, however, I was unable to log in when I first tried. The KDE Splash would freeze at the "33%" level while restoring my session. I tried moving my ".kde/share/config/session/" directory out of the way, but that didn't help, so I simply renamed my entire ".kde" directory and am starting fresh. (I don't care SO much about most of my preferences. It's just my bookmarks and kwallet passwords, and I was able to move those over easily.) So... YMMV. :^) Good luck!!! -- -bill!
