I'm "bumping" to see if I can get some help on this. I retested the
"lsof -d 3" command, and found a change from ro before access to rw
after access:
*COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE NODE
NAME
smbd 18823 [username] 3r CHR 1,9
770 /dev/urandom*
When I lsof on a fresh boot, it's not there. When I remountrw and
connect with the client, it appears as above, with [username] replaced
by... duh. When I remountro, the user becomes root, with everything else
staying the same. Suggestions?
Thanks for all the help so far! I'd never have gotten this far without
y'all.
