Filesystem is read only so maybe that is why directory cannot be

directory to the VOYAGE_SYNC_DIRS variable.

Subject: Re: [Voyage-linux] Enabling USB autofs

As a quick update.. I've changed the folder and finally(!) found the
log file /var/log/daemon.log
That contains entries such as this:
Oct 6 16:40:50 voyage automount[7753]: failed to create iautofs
directory /mnt/mounts
Oct 6 16:40:50 voyage automount[7753]: /mnt/mounts: mount failed!

but that folder has fill permissions for all:
voyage:~# ls -al /mnt/
total 8
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 Oct 6 16:40 .
drwxr-xr-x 24 root root 4096 Oct 6 16:40 ..

So I'm still stuck, but a bit further!
