Hi,

I tried to set up a MPD player with an Alix.3d3 board and a Wistron DNMA92
wireless card. I used MPD Voyage V0.9 and would like to access my music
repository thru a wlan connection. The card got recognized ok and the ath9k
driver is loaded at boot. I configured etc/network/interfaces and
wpa_supplicant to access my WPA2 protected network. This seems to kind of work
sometimes, but the authentication does not work right out and I don't get a
DHCP response most of the times. It just keeps retrying and then connections
only hold for a second before it starts all over again. I do need to set the
router (zyxel) zu 20Mhz channel BW instead of 20/40Mhz - limiting the other
clients. Otherwise I don't get a connaction at all. Eventually I might get a IP
address but this is only pingable through the lan cable, if I disconnect the
lan I loose the connection. I can't have two interfaces on the same network?
The final setup would be without lan cable, but right now I need that to access
system for
  configuration purposes.

1) is there an issue with hostapd? I do not want the sytem to be a AP, I just
want to access my wlan network
2) do I need to configure the dnma92 card (channel, BW, tx power, other
settings?) and where would I do this in Voyage?

I would greatly appreciate if somebody who has set up a dnma92 card to access a
wlan (802.11n if possible) network could post his / her settings ;-), I'am kind
of lost right now.

Thanks,

Michael
