to clarify what the problem/symtpom is: i have added /var/lib/php5 to VOYAGE_SYNC_DIRS somehow the directory has wrong permissions. for php to work it should have 1733 permission. if i change the permissions on a running system (chmod 1733 /var/lib/php5), everything is fine. the changes, only the permissions, are reset, but the content of the directory is right.
