Ok, as this is a common misconception, I'll say it again:
Java*script* and Java are absolutely *NOT* related in any way except that
some marketroid at Netscape talked Sun into allowing them to use the name
"Javascript" for the script language they have been developing for Netscape
Navigator 2.0 (originally to be called "Livescript").
There is no technical relation in any way, in neither design nor
implementation.
