First of all, I am ecstatic to see another release of Voyager and I
am delighted that it works as well as it obviously does.

Thank You Ollie!!!!!!!!!!

We should all be blessed with 'Betas' this good.

But I have a few questions about it anyway ;)

What happened to the pull-down menu option to remove Fastlinks from
the header entirely?

This 'tear off' only very slightly lessens the space used; it never
equals the viewable space of 2.95. [see note below]

The only immediately recognizable benefit of 'tear off' is if
Navigaton AND Fastlinks could be iconified, but then we have the
problem of no 'Back' or 'Stop' button. There is a 'Back' option
under the mouse. Unfortunately, it does not work and there is no
'Stop' mouse option I can find.

I tried very hard to shorten and slide the Fastlinks line up into the
Navigation line, where it logically Should take less space and still
allow 'Back,' 'Forward,' and 'Stop' operation from the Nav bar.

The best I could do was to put the Fastlinks in the same line as
the Location, which was definitely Not what I wanted as it resulted
in having even less of the url visible.

Anyone know how to move Fastlinks to share the Navigation line?

Doesn't the simplest solution seem to be restoring the option to
simply remove Fastlinks in the pull-down menu.

V 3.0 does not seem to last as long between crashes as V2.95.
  3.0 = 45 minutes, 2.95 = 2+ hours (sometimes a whole Lot longer).
  (Guess it's a Beta, huh? ;) )

Is there a way to link RealAudio?

Is the Shockwave player sound capable?

I went to www.universalconcerts.com and www.garbage.com and saw the
animations, very nice, but with a name like universalconcerts I
expected some audio. If it matters, I installed AHI twice to see if
it was something I was doing.

And then bookmarks or Cmanager...
How do you import bookmarks? I have tried to import the ones from
2.95 and save them, but all that seems to happen is a lot of disk
grinding and still no 3.0 bookmarks.

I have to enter each url in each time because they don't save or V3
crashes before it saves, sorta the same difference.

How do you control the inner columns of the manager? They seem to
have a life, or at least a mind of their own. Nothing I do seems to
fix them in place and it is _Really_ annoying to find a lengthly
url name driving all other information from the viewable window.

If the addition columns are of no value, how can they be removed?

Why can't I see the Bookmarks from the pull-down menu? Is it because
I can't save them or has this feature been 'temporarily disabled'?
(If the latter, Please Put them back Ollie!)

Even with the Control button pressed, very often the mouse will not
select or 'grab' a url that I want to move. It simply will not
'lift' it, if that is the right word. Why is this?

Why do the mouse problems continue even after I shut V3 down?
These problems are erratic and seem to vary so much I am hard
pressed to document them in the few instances I have been able to
shut down V3 and continue, sorry. More later if it helps.

Why won't the download window close?
I found the option in the Settings menu and have tried with it
seleced and unselected, and neither way will it close the window
  after a successful download.

For some reason I have not had the problem with V3 affecting YAM2.0
that others have reported (knock on a large piece of wood!), but
after closing V3 with ARexx active, no Arexx program will work in
YAM or elsewhere, even if I reload/reactivate(?) rx. Why is this?

Now before someone gets upset, this is the Voyager Mailing List where
we discuss problems and report bugs and tell Ollie how generally
delighted we are with his efforts, that is the purpose of being here
and that is why I'm writing, so flamers can contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I realize fully that this is a Beta release, and I am reporting my
findings/asking for information in that light. Some of these things
may be bugs which have slipped through and others may be unintenional
features I just don't know how to operate. I would appreciate any
information related to those latter, either via this ML or privately.

Sincerely,
Merlyn

Note: The purpose of a browser being to display webpages, I was
surprised to see so much Less viewable area in V3, but I remember V's
earlier than 2.95 were smaller and Ollie corrected that, so I am sure
he will soon correct this also.

For general information the following info is taken directly from my
monitor and measurements are in inches. (The larger the number below,
the less viewable area is remaining.) The specific measurements are
not the point however; as the loss will be proportional on all
monitors, regardless of specific measurements on any one monitor.

As you can see, even with Fastlinks 'iconified' by 'tear off' at this
time, there is simply less viewable area in V3 than in V2.95.
