You can be rest assured that V3 does not try to open MCP.catalog.
It's probably calling a system function which has been patched by MCP,
and the patch itself will attempt to load the catalog. As this will
still happen on Voyager's process schedule, SnoopDos shows "Voyager" as
the caller.
