Arrrrrggh!
I hate people that say that people hate change!
Whilst I realise that there are a lot of people that hate change just
because it IS change, people have to accept that sometimes resistance to
change is perfectly valid!
I know... I argued against a particular change at work until I was blue in
the face and got ignored. And guess what? It didn't work, so they changed
it back - a year later! Everything I'd said had come true. The ironic thing
was, I wasn't being psychic or even particularly clever - they'd already
implemented the change once before and it had failed miserably for exactly
the same reasons. I think that change will come back at least another 763
times yet before they're really certain that it's not a good change :-)
