But be realistic: a 15" monitor is a 15" monitor. Whatever system you get,
it's still going to be a 15" monitor.

OK, so you're waiting for one of the new Amigas and want to get one of the
monitors designed for them?
Do you think that monitor's going to cost the same as a bog-standard
monitor? Hardly.

And if you do buy a 15" monitor now, and decide you want to get rid of it
when you get your new Amiga, you'll be able to get SOME money back on it
(not a lot, admittedly). Anyway, you can get decent 17" monitors for not a
lot more than that....

If you can't afford a 15" monitor now, you're not going to be able to afford
a new Amiga, sorry!

Anyway, buy a grafix card, monitor and tower case, and you WILL make an
unexpanded A1200 look quite a lot like a Vic20 anyway!

And you can do this now. You don't have to wait to see if any new Amigas
actually materialise.

AGA really IS incredibly outdated. Sure, it CAN do some impressive things.
But not impressive things that help with web browsing :-)
If you use an Amiga with a graphics card for any length of time, you'll see
what I mean.

If you're not interested in upgrading your amiga until the new amigas are
out, then that's fine, but don't expect it to be a perfect world :-)
Certainly don't expect your Amiga to be able to do shockwave stuff very much
justice with just AGA. How many colours are you running in? ;-)
