Not any more! :)
It takes a lot of effort to please me...but Olli has done it. The latest
Voyager 3 beta is about 4-5 faster at handling tables and forms within
tables. I'm not kidding.
Normally Olli, ahem, over exaggerates, so I didn't quite believe him when he
told me this last night. This morning I tried the latest beta myself and
it's true: realdreams.cz/amiga has gone from about 15 seconds on an 060 to
about 3 or 4 seconds. My active-net.co.uk order form has gone from an
embarrassing ~15-20 seconds, down to about 2 or 3. Freshmeat.net, the table
monster, is almost instant on an 060 :)
So,now you'll be wanting to see this for yourselves? Well, there are a few
things that need doing before a pre-release 2 can be released, but expect
this 'soon' :)
