I thought it was just me because I've been messing about something
cronic with my hdd and pfs2. But thinking about it the problems only
really started after installing V3pr2 (now totally uninstalled). It
appears that the user files in the Contact Manager directory were all
corrupt in my case, causing it to hang.
Back up the directories first just incase, but try deleting all the
directories in the contact manager directory with the same names as
your account names. i.e. mine were Matt, Matt2, Ben Root etc.
This resolved the crashing problems here (I also re-installed
Contact manager from an original Netconnect update), but of course all
my bookmarks and e-mail address were lost. Not a major problem for me
(but would be great if someone new how to recover them), but maybe a
bit too drastic for you.
