Just a simple test...
Test file:
2.7MB IRC log, 11500 table rows
Netscape:
P-II 266, clocked to 291MHz, 96MB RAM, about 930kkeys RC5
Reading and parsing took 330 seconds
Voyager 3p2:
Amiga 4000, 060-50 (604e 200), 146MB RAM, about 115kkeys/s RC5
Reading and parsign took 50 seconds
Voyager required 6.5 times less time parsing the table than netscape.
The machine running netscape was about 8 times faster on the RC5 benchmark.
