Roger, what exactly do you mean by "reinstalling the Speedbar classes" ?

All you did was manually copy them (I assume they're called SpeedBar.*)
from the archive into the appropriate MUI libs directory ????

Please let me know, as I'd like to get my V3pre2 fixed.
