I got pre3 a few hours ago and it installed well and everything, but
it just won't start. It loads a few seconds and then freezes the
mouse pointer and then reboots the whole machine.
I tried removing all old prefs for V and also deleting the whole V
directory, but it won't do any good.
Anyone else having this kind of trouble.
Both pre1 and 2 worked fine on my machine, a bit unstable, but they
worked.
My configuration:
A4000 with CyberstormPPC 060/604e 233MHz
full 16+2 MB RAM on motherboard + 64 MB on Cyberstorm
Cybervision 3D + scandoubler
Hydra ZorroII ethernet card - driver version 1.4
Multifacecard III
Two IDE harddrives and a ATAPI CDROM & IDE ZIP
+ CDR in Cyberstorm UWSCSI
Running MCP, MIAMI 3.0d and Contact Manager 1.6.
