Hi,
seems in pre3 there is the same old cache problem.
In offline mode (without a running tcp/ip stack) i cannot access pages
from the cache unless i turn the cache-verify setting to never.
The cache is a true, brandnew pre3 cache, no part from pre2 or v2.
If i set cache verify to never everything works fine. I can browse the
sites in the cache without a problem.
If i set cache verify to every.. or once.. (which is default) i only
get a requester "unable to open page ..... not in the cache". (It is,
believe me)
Since i had to reinstall the pre2 toolkit.library to get V working, i
am not sure if this caused the problem. I am very glad if someone with
a complete working pre3 [if there is one 8-)] could check this.
Its a prerelease and there are of course several bugs in it, ok.
But we are talking about this problem since about 2 years. Sorry, i am
really tired of repeating every release the same.
