Lucky you, I just saw this morning the back button inactive once again for no 
reason... Looks like there's still a little mess to fix with this history stuff.
I think I went from about: page to v3, to vapor, to cz amiga news, to aminet 
with two windows opened.. (can't remember, but it might be related to the number
of opened windows)... And I had the back inactive, but could anyway go back
(and forward) using the 'b' (and 'f') key ... So the history was ok, but 
something might erroneously tell the back button to go inactive (or is it 
a speedbar bug ?)

Anyway I didn't have the gigantic page bug anymore since I installed V3p5, and 
suffered only one crash (that I suspect to be related to js). 
I now plan to give my VNG keyfile to a little children with no browser in 
somalia, cause the pre 5 made it really obsolete :)
