Buy a graphics card? I don't have one, but I can live with
the graphical effect simply because I know it's just an
artefact of a slow, plodding planar chipset.
(if you want to know why it's doing it, think of those
little movie-cards you get in cereal boxes, and when you
tilt them to the light and can see BOTH images - it's
just where the blitter has only done half the work before
it has to display it)
