Can you give more information on the accelerator card? What processor
and speed is it? Manufacturer?

New or second-hand?

What happens when you boot from a Workbench 3 floppy disk? (Use a copy
of the disk, only use your original to make a working copy. Write
protect the original before you copy it.). Does the
hard drive then get recognised or not? Does it get recognised with the
old card but not the new one when booting from floppy?

Anything else plugged in, such as a Squirrel? Is the hard drive 3 1/2
ich or 2 inch? A big one might be drawing more current than the power
supply can deliver if you add an accelerator.

Even 8 Megs of RAM isn't much for a web browser, but the hard drive
should work.
