I also use a single-user system and I have experienced absolutely no
problems using the CManager bookmark system. The CManager bookmark system
is actually quite an improment over the old buggy bookmark system of VNG.
If you are having problem try installing CManager itself. Some has reported
that this solved their problems. If you already have installed CManager I
will suggest that you remove both CManager and Voyager from your system
(remember to keep the keyfiles) and reinstall both from scratch. Also
look in your ENV: and ENVARC: directories (and their subdirectories) and
remove any variables associated with CManager and/or Voyager.
And the CManager bookmark system is very easy to setup: I did absolutely
no configuration to make it work. It can hardly be any easier. When
I use CManager it uses "root" as the UserID -- I have never myself chosen
this, and I certainly don't have to log in using passwords or anything.
My bookmarks file is indeed stored in a directory named "root".
And oh, I love this bookmark system. I haven't lost one single URL since
I started using this :)
